Is dog training for me?

This is a very common question by all new handlers. Of course it is, the rewards and satisfaction of having a good dog are endless.

What we can offer you

Weekly Dog Obedience & Agility training classes. Classes are often held more often over the warmer months of daylight saving. Individual help is also available to those persons wishing to show their dogs.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can we come along?

There is NO set monthly intake day, giving you flexibility in your busy life. Come any Saturday that you are free to sign up, observe and get straight into lessons if you wish.

Minimum dog age?

Pups should be 12 weeks of age to attend training and must be fully vaccinated. Bring vaccination papers to your first lesson please.

Minimum Handler age?

Handlers can begin training their family pet if they are 7 years of age & able to control their dog competently. A physical competency assessment may be undertaken to determine this on an individual, case by case basis.

Is dog training for me?

Yes- Along with getting fresh air and exercise, training is a good social outlet for both handler and dog. You get to meet like-minded persons that can share their dog training experiences and challenges as a dog owner. Handlers vary from 7 to over 80 years of age.


Lessons are just a few dollars each, small change really, in this day and age. Saturday lessons also include a complimentary cuppa and biscuit on us.

Membership fees?

Annual membership from as little as $7 for a junior handler (7-16 yrs of age) $10 for a single standard member, and $20 a family, very affordable for all budgets.
